Devon Wells
Devon started in the fire service in 1991 as a volunteer firefighter. He worked as a Fire Marshal, on shift work and through the ranks until 2005. He was promoted to Operations and Training Chief in July 2005 and to Fire Chief in April 2009. Devon retired from full time paid fire service in September 2016. He has been an instructor since 1993 and teaches many regional courses in Oregon and Washington. He is also a Past President for the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) and a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program. He now operates his family farming operation and his training business Emergency Services Training and Consulting. He volunteers as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Wy’East Fire District (OR).
