Kevin Fee
Chairman
Kevin T. Fee is President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. Inc. Kevin is a third-generation owner and operator of the 104-year-old manufacturer and distributor of fire sprinkler equipment. Kevin T. Fee, Jr., Vice President of Sales, Americas, and Frank J. Fee, IV, Vice President of Marketing, represent the fourth generation of the Fee family.
Kevin holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from Boston College and an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University. Kevin started his full-time career in 1973 at Reliable as Sales Manager after receiving his MBA from Columbia University. Kevin was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 1976 and Executive Vice President in 1982, where he was responsible for Sales, Marketing and Distribution, Engineering and Product Development, Technical Services, Production Planning, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections.
In 2015 Kevin became President and Chief Executive Officer. Kevin was elected to the then NAS and FCA Board of Directors in 1981. He was elected Vice-Chairman and served two terms from (1987-1990) and was elected and served two terms as
Chairman (1990-1993). Kevin was elected as Treasurer of the NFSA in 2004 and served 8 years. Kevin has served on the NFSA’s Board of Directors for over 40 consecutive years and is the longest tenured Board Member in the history of the NFSA. It was in the early days of Kevin’s term on NFSA’s Board of Directors that he realized one of the most effective ways to grow the sprinkler market was through a strong trade association.
Kevin was a founding member of the International Fire Sprinkler Association (IFSA) and served as its first Chairman of the Board of Directors for two terms (2000-2003) and served as a Board Member until 2024. The IFSA is promoting the fire sprinkler concept worldwide. Reliable has been a non-union manufacturer of fire sprinklers since its inception in 1920.
Reliable joined AFSA after it opened its membership to manufacturers and suppliers. Kevin served on the American Fire Sprinkler Association’s Manufacturer and Suppliers Council for many years was elected Chairman in 1986. Kevin is an active supporter of the AFSA Chapter Development Initiative.
Kevin is also a long-time member of NFPA since 1974. Kevin has served on Factory Mutual Research Corporation’s FM Advisory Council for many years. Kevin is strongly committed to the continued promotion of the fire sprinkler concept, protection of the integrity of fire sprinkler systems and protection of the identity of the fire sprinkler industry. In 2019, Kevin was elected to the Board of Directors of Common Voices and was recently elected Chairman of the Board of Directors. Founded in 2010 Common Voices’ mission is to create a
Fire Safe America by sharing tragic stories that highlight the fire problem in a way that promotes advocacy and proactive policy decisions. By unifying the voices of those that have been directly affected by fire with those who support the fire sprinkler concept, Common Voices has and will continue to work towards a Fire Safe America through the use of fire sprinklers.
Kevin is married to his wife, Christine, for over 50 years and has three children – Kevin Jr., K.C., and Courtney. Kevin’s favorite activity is spending time with his six grandchildren, who are better known as “The Six-Pack” – Bella (13), Alex (11), Harley (9), Charlie B. (9), Brody (7), and Alice (7).
